Time for a Change
As I recently gave birth to two beautiful twin girls, I am not looking forward to being pregnant again anytime soon. Therefore I chose to get the birth control shot. Today I received my second round and of course when I went in they had to weigh me. Why couldn't they just let me continue on living in my state of semi ignorant bliss. I mean I knew that I was probably gaining weight and I planned to do something about it eventually, but seeing those numbers on the scale gave me the kick in the pants I needed. Today is officially the first day of my new diet. I am only allowed 1368 calories per day and so far with breakfast, lunch, and a snack I've only taken in 421 calories (it's really more than that but the actual number is reduced when exercise is factored in) so I'm pretty excited about that even though I still have to eat dinner I am confident that I will stay under my allotment for the day. Yay!! I'll keep you posted.
